Ongoing projects:

Spotlight Pathology is collaborating with the Northern England Haemato-Oncology Diagnostic Service and their Novopath laboratory along with the National Pathology Imaging Co-operative (NPIC) to develop a novel AI lymphoma diagnostic triage tool. Project supported by the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR i4i).

We are working with the Haematology Oncology Diagnostics Service at the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to digitise lymph node and trephine biopsies. Our Chief Medical Advisor Dr Richard Byers has also recently been awarded a place on its Clinical Entrepreneurship programme.
Academic and Clinical Partnerships
We currently have several active partnerships which provide us with access to digitised slides and associated diagnostic data, as well as advice on product and study design. These valuable links also allow us to collaborate on haematopathology publications regarding product efficacy, and we have applied for multi-partner research grants. Additionally, our academic and clinical partnerships enable us to provide sponsorship and co-supervision of PhD students.
